Hey hey! It's the last day of Band Camp, and it's been great!
As you get ready to come back to school in another few days, here are some things to remember:
- Think about what a reasonable sleep schedule looks like for you. The better you sleep, the better your mind and body will respond to you.
- Think about what reasonable nutrition looks like for you. A good balance of protein, carbs, and fats will provide your mind and body the nutrients that will keep you healthy.
- Think about how to incorporate more water into your day. Water is amazing, and is even a better friend than your very best friend.
- And (of course), think about how to develop a time each day for practicing your instrument. What is helpful for many people is to, as you are getting ready for bed, check your plans for the next day and decide when is the best time for that day to get in some practice. And then set an alarm, so that you remember "oh yeah - time for some practice!".
When we first met at the beginning of Band Camp, it was suggested that you should bookmark this page and check it often. If YOU are seeing this on the final day of Band Camp, YOU have won a prize! Stay tuned - McKee will award prizes toward the end of rehearsal! 😁
