TIME FOR ADULTS TO STEP UP!! **UPDATED**

The THS Band and Orchestra program hosts RhythmFest on February 8, when 32 indoor color guard performance groups will come to Tigard High to strut their stuff. We've been hosting this show for over 20 years and it's a HUGE moneymaker for our instrumental music program. 

Hats off to the THS Band and Orchestra students for doing a terrific job of signing up for RhythmFest student jobs - they're almost all filled!

So now we need ALL you parents and other Band and Orchestra adults to find the jobs that work for YOU! Seriously - the kids can't do it all. Just look at the amazing variety of jobs we need to fill:

  • Ticket Sales - sit indoors near the spectator entrance and sell admission tickets. 
  • Food Concessions - work with THS students to sell yummy goodies.
  • Communication Center - sit at our central table and provide site maps, help volunteers sign in and out, distribute bandaids, etc. 
  • Indoor Security - work with THS students to open and close performance area doors, OR monitor and time group warmup areas so that groups finish on time.
  • Setup (Friday evening) OR Cleanup (Saturday evening) - work with THS students setting up for the event, OR working with THS students resetting after the event.

PLEASE - we need all the spots filled to make sure RhythmFest is a success, and as of 12 pm on 1/28 we still have 18 adult spots to fill. This is our most important fundraiser of the year, so CLICK HERE to find the job that fits you best. (Want to sign up for more than one? Go for it!)

  • Communication Center - 1 person/shift
    • Noon - 3pm
    • 3 - 6pm
    • 6 - 9pm
  • Ticket Sales - 1 person/shift
    • 3 - 6pm
    • 6 - 8:30pm
  • Indoor Security - 4 people/shift
    • Noon - 3pm
    • 3 - 6pm
    • 6 - 9pm
  • Food Concessions - 1 person still needed
    • 6 - 9:30pm
