We did it! Day 1 of Band Camp was a solid success:
- Everyone made it through the whole day.
- No one threw up (it's happened before!)
- Everyone learned some marching basics - including the pit!
- We played three songs as an ensemble - all the way through - at the end of the Very. First. Day. Including the opener. Seriously - that's a big deal.
- The guard got serious about stretching. SO important!
- So. Much. Water. And yet, everyone probably needs to consume even more.
- And, Mr. Mister!
So, now it's time for some good rest. Make sure to eat well, and continue to hydrate.
