How Are YOU Getting Ready For Marching Band??

Band Camp is in less than two weeks - yay! Now's the time to make sure you're physically ready. Here are some things you can do:
  • If you've been sitting around, get out and walk every day for 30 minutes
  • If you've been somewhat active, run/walk every day for 30 minutes
  • If you've been active, work running into your routine
  • Make sure to eat a good balance of food, incorporating carbs, proteins, and healthy fats
  • Phase out soda and "energy" drinks - go for water and the occasional Gatorade
  • And make sure you and your equipment are good friends - your lips/hands/shoulders/legs/back will thank you!
