- If you've been sitting around, get out and walk every day for 30 minutes
- If you've been somewhat active, run/walk every day for 30 minutes
- If you've been active, work running into your routine
- Make sure to eat a good balance of food, incorporating carbs, proteins, and healthy fats
- Phase out soda and "energy" drinks - go for water and the occasional Gatorade
- And make sure you and your equipment are good friends - your lips/hands/shoulders/legs/back will thank you!
