Friday

4:00 pm           Load truck. This week’s loading crew is drumline. And pit, of course.

Saturday

8:00 am           Arrive THS in black pep tee, black socks and marching shoes (waterproofed and polished !!). Put on uniform. Full uniform (minus shako) will be worn on the bus. Check for shako, plume, and instrument. Bring warm extra clothes!! And socks!!

8:30 am           Eat a nifty snack (thanks, Band Boosters!)

8:55 am           In the band room, dressed and ready !! Everyone, please use the toilet before we leave! Load the bus in order (seniors, drumline, auxiliary, jr, so, fr/8th)

9:00 am           Leave

9:30 am           Arrive Hillsboro Stadium – unload very quickly. Large winds, pit, drumline, auxiliary to the truck

10:10 am         Line up w/ instruments ready to go to warm-up area

10:15 am – 12:00 pm   Warm-up

12:20 pm         Ready Gate (Pit @ gate 12:05)

12:30 pm         Showtime !!

12:50 pm         Change your clothes – put your uniform away CAREFULLY! Stow your instrument correctly! Grab some cheese and fruit - head to the stands

1:20 – 3:30 pm   In the stands, watching bands.

3:45 pm             Awards!                                                                                                         

(Times to follow TBD – will adjust according to Prelim scoring and Finals placement)

                                                                                                                                               

4:15 pm           Eat dinner!  (Hot dinner will be provided by the Band Boosters - how nice!)

5:00 pm           Get dressed

5:20 pm           Warm-up

6:3? pm            Ready Gate

6:3? pm            Showtime !!

7:?? pm            Change your clothes/load truck

After loading    Dessert! And maybe some cheese!

8:00 – 8:30 pm   Watch more bands

9:00 pm           Awards!!

10:00 pm         Arrive at THS – unload truck - go home!!

Directions to Hillsboro Stadium

• Hwy. 26 west to Exit #62A  - Cornelius Pass/West Union Road
• Veer right (south) onto Cornelius Pass Road - stay in right lane
• Right onto Imbrie Dr. (stoplight/Chevron Station)
• Right onto Evergreen Parkway (stoplight)
• Right onto NW 229th Ave. (stoplight)

Remember, you come with the band, stay with the band,

and go home with the band. No going off-site for any purpose.

Hey Band! (hey, what?)

Let's forget that whole "black shirt, blue jeans" thing for Homecoming and go with the theme of the week - it's a Neon Out!

For both the parade, and for the game, we're going neon!

Homecoming Is Friday!

Homecoming is here! Here's what's happening with the THS Band this Friday:

• Friday
• 3:45 pm - Homecoming Parade call time (Band Room)
• Pep shirt, blue jeans
• Parade route: Durham Road, Haggen parking lot to THS 
• Twality and Fowler band students will join us at Haggen
• 5:30ish - Dinner in the Commons, with our Twality and Fowler guests
• 6:15ish - Marching Band warm-up in full uniform
• 6:45 - All band folks head into the THS Stadium for pre-game FS and Banner
• 7 - 9:30ish - Homecoming FB vs Newberg - pep with the young ones
• 8:00ish - Fabulous MB halftime show!
• More pep, pep, pep!
• 9:30ish - Play Celebration!
• After - Head upstairs, meet with Irving and McKee, and head home

Hurry - Time Is Almost Up!

Do YOU want to go on the Spring performance tour to California? If so, you MUST turn in your deposit (or make arrangements) NO LATER THAN FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 25!

Irving and McKee need to be able to see what our instrumentation looks like, and they need to do it right away. So, if you haven't turned in your deposit to secure your spot, contact McKee RIGHT AWAY, to make sure you aren't left off the list.
