VERY IMPORTANT (MANDATORY) MEETING!

The next Band Booster meeting is coming up quickly - it's next Monday, January 9 at 7pm. This is a VERY IMPORTANT MEETING:
  • Students planning to go on the Disney Trip MUST attend, along with at least one adult. (And yes, there will be one more of these before we go.)
  • RhythmFest is rapidly approaching, and we need to get it organized and fill all the jobs at this meeting. There's something for everyone (parent-types included!) and remember, it's a mandatory "performance" for ALL students involved in ANY and ALL THS Band ensembles - Jazz Band, Jazz Lab, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Marching Band, Winter Drumline, and Winter Guard. Students MUST participate (regardless of jobs, sports, homework, Scouts, other performing ensembles, etc), and we need as many parents as we can get too.
We plan to be very organized at this meeting, and to not waste your time. Please plan to be there with us.

Mark your calendar! Monday, January 9, 7pm, in the THS Library.

See you there!

McKee's Holiday Gratitude Gathering/Open House

The THS Band Program volunteers are the reason we can do all the terrific things we do, and I am very grateful for all of you, present and past. If you are or have been an adult THS Band volunteer, I hope you can drop by this Friday evening between 6 and 9pm and enjoy some seasonal munchies - we might even break out the panini machine again!

Sorry - no current/former students.

Christmas Eve Handbells!

Looking for a nice way to spend 45 minutes on Christmas Eve? Join us at Newberg Friends (just 20 minutes from Tigard!) for a wonderful candlelight service full of music, including handbells. Never heard handbells? Then you should definitely come! Musicians include Liz, Eryn,  Phil (yes, Phil!), and me - whoopee! We're very casual and friend-ly, so come on by this evening at 5, 6:30, or 8 pm.

West on Hwy 99, on to the one-way in Newberg. Left on College Street. Newberg Friends is on the corner of College and 3rd.
