The Calendar Is Geting Full!

It's starting to get busy! Here's what's up this week:

• Monday 5/21 - Spring Concert Rehearsal - 3:15 - 5 pm
• Tuesday 5/22 - Spring Concert! 6pm call time
• Wednesday 5/23 - DO YOUR HOMEWORK!
• Thursday 5/24 - Parade Practice - 3:15 - 5 pm
• Friday - 5/25 - Get ready for a three-day-weekend - YAY!

Food, Patches, and a Parade!

It's time for the MANDATORY MAY BAND MEETING! Here is the important information:

• Wednesday May 16, 6:30pm, THS Commons
• FOOD! We'll eat hotdogs with all the trimmings, along with something tasty for dessert!
• PATCHES! Everyone who was involved with the various marching enterprises during Fall and Winter seasons will get their patches, suitable for attaching to a nifty jacket, etc
• Signups for Balloon Fest! An opportunity for one and all to earn $$ toward band-related expenses
• Information about Band Camp and the Fall Marching Program

And speaking of marching, we're in the Rose Festival Starlight Parade - yay! 

• Starlight Parade is Saturday June 2, in the evening (hence, the title of "Starlight"...)
• It's really, REALLY fun!
• EVERYONE who is part of the band classes, Fall Marching Band, Winter Drumline, and Winter Guard will march
• TWO rehearsals: 
• Thursday May 24 - 3:15- 4:30 pm (NOTE NEW DAY!!)
• Thursday May 31 - 3:15 - 5:00 pm
• Parade call time on June 2 is 7pm

What A Great Way To Start The Winter Season!

RhythmFest 2018 is over and it was a great day - including a terrific win for Tigard Winter Guard - whoo hoo! 

Now, it's time for Winter performers and their significant adults to get together for a short but VERY IMPORTANT meeting, so that everyone knows what to expect now that we are about to begin traveling. 

• Wednesday 2/7 
• 7:45 pm - parents/adults meet in the cafeteria (WDL and WG)
• Friday 2/9 **REVISED**
• 4 - 5:30 pm - run-through rehearsal 
• 6 pm - load truck for WDL
• After loading - BBX vs Lakeridge pep
• Saturday 2/10
• 9 am - call time for WDL
• 12:20 pm - Tigard WDL clinic time
• 5:50 pm - Tigard WDL competition time
