Try-It-Outs!!

Coming up in June, right after Graduation - it's the famous Tigard High Band Try-It-Out clinics!

All horn players, color guard folks, and percussionists will gather in the THS Band Room for clinic time with revered THS instructors, including the venerable Dylan Thompson - yes, folks, Dylan will be in the house!

Here's the information:

• Monday June 12 - 5-8 pm
• Wednesday June 14 - 5-8 pm
• Who should come??
• Horn players
• Pit players
• Guard spinners
• Drummers
• Others who want to try it out!

Come See the WDL at the OCI Invitational!

The OCI Invitational is this Saturday (April 15) at McMinnville High School, and other band and guard folks are welcome to come and watch. There will be lots of groups performing, including the final performance of OCI's incredible 2017 show "Ain't That America", opportunities to enter raffles for great band gear, tasty concessions, and more.  

If YOU want to come see the terrific 2017 WDL show "Talisman", CLICK HERE to let McKee know, and be at the school by 12:45 to get on the bus. BTW, admission is FREE!

12:50 pm         In the band room, ready to go !!

1:00 pm           Load bus and leave       

2:00 pm           Arrive McMinnville HS – unload very quickly

2:00 – 2:45 pm   Warm-up      

3:?? pm            Ready Gate

3:?? pm            Showtime!!

5:30 pm           Load truck

7:00 pm           Arrive THS – unload truck

7:15 pm           Go home!

Directions to McMinnville High School

• Travel on 99W for approx. 26 miles into McMinnville
• Turn LEFT on Baker Street
• McMinnville High School is on the left, between 17^th and 15^th Streets

                                                            

Remember, you come with the band, stay with the band,

and go home with the band. No going off-site for any purpose.

 

The End Is Near...

All right folks, it's the Final Countdown to the end of the 2017 Winter Marching Season! The THS Winter Guard has already done us proud by bringing home the hardware in Guard Scholastic Class AA, and now let's see how the Tigard Cadet and the Tigard Winter Drumline perform at the NWAPA Percussion Championships. The full schedule is on the right - check it out, get some rest, and let's hit the ground running on Saturday.
