So if YOU might be interested, come to the Band Booster meeting THIS THURSDAY 12/9 at 7pm in the THS Library and we'll have the latest information!

What a great Craft Fair day today! We got terrific feedback from our vendors who were grateful for the help provided by everyone - this doesn't happen at other craft fairs, so that makes our event quite special. Folks really enjoyed the live music in the early afternoon - thank you to our terrific ensemble!  And to everyone, thank you for being there and doing what we do - we are the Tigard High Band, and we do good things. 

You have earned a treat! Here's a great rendition of White Christmas, just for you. Thank you again!

 

Craft Fair!!

Hey Band! (hey, what??)

It's time for the famous Tigard High Band Holiday Craft Fair! Every year, on the 1st Saturday in December, we host an AMAZING craft fair, with talented artists who come in and sell their terrific wares. 

(But McKee, what does this have to do with meeeee??)

Here's the deal - the Holiday Craft Fair benefits the THS Band program, and we provide help both the night before and the day of the event. Because the whole program benefits, this event is considered a "Required Performance" for ALL band students. What that means is that you are required to work one shift. That's it. (And you MAY work more than one shift, if you wish!)

• Friday
• Set up
• Saturday
• Help vendors bring in their wares (early am)
• Greet the public - throughout the day

Wow! What A Season! Now, Let's Celebrate!

Hey Band!! (hey what?)

You've just completed the 2021 NWAPA Marching Band Fall season! Now what are you going to do??

 

"We're going to have a celebration!"

 

 

 

Now we have to decide - what shall we eat??

We don't know for sure, but one thing we do know is - there will be cake!

ALL Tigard Marching ensemble members, supporting adults, and pit crew will gather for a celebration on Monday November 15 in the Tigard High Library at 7pm.

 OK friends - Autumn Spectacular is here! Here's what you need to know:

• Please arrive 15 minutes BEFORE your shift begins
• All workers check in at the Athletic Entrance. (Where IS that, McKee??) 
  
• It's the entrance near the football field, by the new West parking lot (off 92nd)
  
• Speaking of parking, please park in the front, or in the West lot 
• Make sure if you are working an evening shift that you wear something warm - it's going to be brisk
• Get ready to have fun and help us be the best hosts we can be, for all our band guests

Tigard Autumn Spectacular Needs You!

HEY BAND! (hey, what??)  Volunteers Are Needed! Tigard High Band is hosting the NWAPA Class A/AA Marching Band Championships Saturday October 30^th. And we need your help. This is an all day and into the evening competition. We have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities for you to choose from throughout the day, and we need as many band adults and students as we can get. And no experience is necessary! If you would like a spot where you can sit throughout your shift, please consider signing up for our communication station or at the 50/50 Raffle table.  Adults can work in a student spot, but a student cannot work in an adult spot.
